GHoov getting some follow runs in for a new Magic vid. It’s all about dat Magic.
It’s all about that local flavor. These runs offer speed and technical turns and also happen to be a great place to get warmed up for this year’s Buffalo Bill Downhill race in 4 days. Thanks to BC Longboards for getting us out there. Stoked for more mountain runs. www.bclongboards.com, www.reytrucks.com, www.coreextremesports.com
Always skate safe & within your limits.
RIDERS: Jason Machado, Josh Hughes, Kyle Ramsey & Mac Merritt
Took a trip to the local switchbacks for some rad runs with the homies. Josh Hughes is wearing the camera with Mac Merritt & I following behind.
Always skate safe, we used walkies and had a spotter at the bottom to make sure no cars were coming up.

Finally got to test out my first set of Lite-REY Trucks. Took them fast down a mountain run and then sideways in a rain session. They preformed really well. So responsive. I kept my bushing setup that I was already comfortable with, Fast: 90a Venom - both sides, Freeride: 90a Venom - boardside, 88a Venom - roadside. Be sure to check them out if you are looking for a really affordable precision truck. Also riding the BC Longboards EEL top-mount proto. Look for the drop-through version very soon!
Members of the OKC Longboard Crew headed to Mt Scott to shred a three mile long run at speeds about 45mph. For some it was their first time to hit such a long run. When pack riding at these speeds, safety is always a priority. While I believe this could’ve been handled differently to avoid a gnarly slam, there was a much heated debate. You be the judge.

OKC Longboard Crew hit up Red Rocks for some sick pack riding through a couple of switchbacks. A few of us had never been there before, but after a few runs it was on. The locals at the park were super cool, and everyone wanted to pull over and watch. Definitely not going to be the last time we hit up this spot.
The OKC Longboard Crew got together to shred the local switchbacks & then on to Mt Scott for a 5 min, 40+mph drop down some SKETCHY pavement. There were too many slams to count at switchbacks from guys really pushing themselves with standups & gripping all the way down. SHRED OK!

There is a run by Mt Scott that has some super fun hairpins. This was the first run down searching the lines. Gripping a couple of the corners and riding down with monpod makes it all the more fun!
Switchbacks is such a great place to dial in your heelside checks.
Jason was rippin the course with no-hands down toeside checks. Believe me, this is a fast right hander.
