2012 Compilation – Episode 2

2012 was an epic year for the Oklahoma longboard scene, quite a few local races and many, many skate trips. We don’t have many long and fast local spots so we travel deep into NoCoast territory to find faster runs. Episode 2 focus’ on our travels , ending with our trip to Buffalo Bill Downhill. BOARDER CROSSING {Episode 2}

In Episode 2, we pick up one more OKC skater and headed over the border into Arkansas. We started the day off with some fast & lonnnng highway runs, then headed to the Ozark Mountains. Seven hairpins & a long backside run almost topped the trip off, until we found a side road that kicked it above 50mph. It was such an epic skate trip, there is nothing like these runs by where we live, so this will definitely not be the last time we head east.

We pick up one more OKC skater, Mac, and headed over into Arkansas for some three minute highway runs and then into Devils Den State Park for a five minute ride through seven hairpins. Oh and then a four minute ride over 50mph. LABOR DAY SK8 DAY
- Episode 2-

Thanks for staying tuned for Episode 2 of LABOR DAY SK8 DAY. After Bear Run Mac & I headed to one of our favorite neighborhoods for some downhill fun. Its not super fast but is always a good time. We then finished up the day at a new freeride spot that has a sweet little drop that you can hit from both sides. Definitely a great day of riding. Can’t wait for the next session. Hope you guys enjoy.
